ByteDance is apparently rolling out Seedance 2.0 to the public, as the model is now available on Dreamina, Capcut, and other platforms.

seedance 2.0 global rollout

ByteDance has apparently started a phased, early global rollout of its Seedance 2.0 multimodal video generation model today. The company has not released any official statements, leaving the community to rely entirely on user reports and rumors surfacing across X.

The current situation is a mess of mixed signals. The official Dreamina landing page still displays a massive “Coming Soon” banner, yet I logged in today and found the Seedance 2.0 model fully available and active in the model selector dropdown. There are reports saying the model is also available on CapCut and other platforms.

Because the entire rollout is unannounced, it is entirely possible that this early access is simply a backend error rather than a deliberate soft launch.

Regardless of whether it is a glitch or a quiet release, here is what the model actually brings to the table:

  • Multimodal inputs: Users can feed the system up to nine images, three short videos, and three audio clips to precisely control the style, motion, and scene.
  • Advanced generation: The model natively supports lip-syncing, character consistency, real-world physics, and director-level camera controls.
  • Benchmark dominance: Seedance 2.0 immediately topped the Artificial Analysis text-to-video leaderboards upon its integration today.

Still, the elephant in the room is how ByteDance actually achieved this level of fidelity. The model originally launched in China in early February, where it went globally viral for generating hyper-realistic, celebrity-heavy clips.

That viral success immediately triggered a legal nightmare that officially paused the initial international rollout just over a week ago.

The Bottom Line: Nothing is still confirmed officially, but users around the web are reporting that Seedance 2.0 is available for them. If you’re a Dreamina subscriber, check out for yourself.
