Xiaomi launched a token plan for its MiMo API platform, opening access to its full model lineup for developers. The plan covers MiMo-V2-Pro, Omni, Flash, and TTS under a single subscription, with TTS free for now and 12% off the first purchase.
The pricing for overseas users:
- MiMo-V2-Pro: $1.00 input / $3.00 output per 1M tokens, doubling past 256K context
- MiMo-V2-Omni: $0.40 input / $2.00 output per 1M tokens
- MiMo-V2-Flash: $0.10 input / $0.30 output per 1M tokens
- MiMo-V2-TTS: Free for now
- Web search: $5 per 1K requests
All models have a 1M token context window on Pro and 256K on the rest, with 128K max output. Cache writing is free for a limited time, with cached input priced at a fraction of standard input costs.
The platform works with OpenClaw, OpenCode, Kilocode, Cline, and Roocode out of the box. Xiaomi is also promising no throttling, transparent billing, and priority beta access to new models as part of the plan.
It is not the first time a Chinese AI company has moved to capture developer spend with a straightforward token plan. MiniMax launched a similar all-modality offering days after its M2.7 release, and StepFun came in with a $6.99 coding plan aimed squarely at open source developers. Xiaomi is making the same move, just with a phone company’s brand behind it.
