Evernote’s AI assistant can now manage your note reminders

Evernote’s latest update lets the AI Assistant set, update, and remove note reminders conversationally inside the note’s chat interface.

Evernote just released version 11.11.2. The update expands what the built-in AI Assistant can do and raises its usage limits.

The main addition is reminder management. Previously the AI Assistant could handle due dates on tasks but not the classic note reminders. Now you can ask it to set, update, or remove a reminder on any note directly from the chat interface without leaving the note.

Evernote published a short demo showing the feature on a “Tax Season” note. It sets a reminder for the following day, adjusts it to 5 PM, then removes it entirely. Each action gets a confirmation.

The update also increases the monthly message and chat limits for the AI Assistant. On the UI side, right-clicking any tab now gives you the option to duplicate or close it.

There is also a small cosmetic addition. You can now change the AI Assistant’s icon in Settings, including switching it to Evernote’s classic green elephant.

The release fixes a bug where notes became uneditable after switching notebooks or navigating away and back.
